Lower Face Lift

I will be scheduling a lower face lift procedure soon.  Can anyone tell me how long the recovery is and how long they were off work?  My PS said a week, but Im thinking it might be a little longer than that.

Hi, I had one about 4 months ago and it depends on how bad you are about bruising. The bruising was gone from me in about a week, but some people have it last two weeks or more.
Make sure you get yourself a good concealer. Good luck.  Gail

I had facelift/browlift/upper eyelid/Breastlift and took 12 days. The face was the least of it. I did have some bruising still but makeup covered it well. GOOD LUCK!!!! I actually have my facelift, before & after on my profile.

You are so sweet.I think I am very lucky and mostly my life is good. Whose's life is perfect!!! I'm really scared about the pain but my Dr said this surgery will not be as long as my face & breast. My wonderful Mom gifted me the face and my Ex the breasts. I;ve ALMOST posted the breast pix but...I'm not sure and I'm not suse how to make it "friende accessible" only.

I had a lower face lift last November (the week before Thanksgiving) and I was off for 1.5 weeks. At the same time I was a breast lift and brachioplasty. For me, the lower face lift was, by far, the worst. I was in constant pain with very swollen ears. It hurt so much more than my RNY, total hip replacement, and all of my other procedures combined. I think everyone is different. I remember after having my outer bandages removed that the doctor told me that I could wash my hair (it was filled with dry blood) and I waited another day because I didn't want the water to touch my ears because I would scream! Everyone is different.

I have some photos and love the results and would do it all over again in a second.
