Countdown Begins...WOW!

Saw my surgeon yesterday for the pre-op appointment for surgery on Oct. 6.  I'll be having the LBL, medial thigh lift and butt augmentation - I say it's kinda like 'build a bear' but it's 'build a butt'!

So...he's sticking with around 20 lbs being removed and estimates 9 inches of pannus GONE!  I just can't imagine what this is going to be like - I think I was that small in high school for a minute walking from US History to Chemistry class.

I'll be having surgery at the surgerical suite as his office and then three nights at a spa retreat for plastic surgery patients.  I'm a little nervous about it, but on the other hand, less chance of MRSA and other icky things floating around a hospital.

Overall, I'm just speechless and soooo excited - though not looking forward to the whlole ordeal in general.

Good luck on your surgery, Janna!  I am having surgery on Oct 8th in Mexico, and I cannot wait!  I am having a LBL, BL/BA, medial thigh lift, and lipo with fat grafting to my butt.  I cannot wait to see my new body!

Also, I just have to say that I LOVE LOVE Colorado Springs.  We were stationed there from 1999-2001, and we plan on retiring there after my husband retires from the Army.  I have so many friends there still and cannot wait to come back!

Thanks, Jessica!  You're having a lot work done at once...but hey, might as well get it over with all in one shot.  I wonder of your fat grafting to your butt is the same as my 'butt augmentation'?  It sounds very similar from what little I understand about it...

I've been in the Springs since 1998 - dh has been here all his life.  It is a great place to live...not too big (yet!) and fairly stable economy (thanks to the military, I think)  Hurry back when you can!  Though Hawaii certainly isn't too shabby...

Let's keep in touch...we'll compare aches and incision lines! LOL

I am having a lot done at once, but I want to get it over with and have one recovery.  Dr Sauceda uses local anesthesia with sedation, so thankfully I will not be under general anesthesia.  If you are not getting implants to your butt, then we are having the same surgery.  I have learned a lot about the procedure on makemeheal.com. 

I love downtown Colo Springs!  I love Jack Quinn's, Olive Branch, Mackenzie's Chop House, Il Vicino's, etc.  We lived in Old Broadmoor, off of Cheyenne Rd.  Hawaii is great, but it is like living the movie, Groundhog Day....nothing ever changes.

I am having surgery Oct 5.  So we are surgery buddies.  I am having LBL, Breast lift, lipo, fat to butt.  I feel just like you do.  Excited, in fact so excited i can't stand it.  But also scared.  Wi**** was over already.  But can't wait to see the results. 

Well we can get through this together.

Just want to send you best wishes for an easy surgery and a smooth recovery!  I'm only 10 days out from my TT and breast lift and I thrilled with how my tummy looks.........what a difference it makes.  I'm sure you will be thrilled too!

Keep packing in your protein.......it helps with recovery!
