Sept 30th I lose my belly button..all my scars that show that I had gastric bypass and replace them with 2 giant ones that look like the anchor on Popeyes arm.  For some reason I have gotten used to having my extra skin its been a protective barrier against people and now its going to be gone.  I am kinda gonna miss it.  I won't miss the rashes or having to shop to fit it.  Its just sad that its gonna be gone for good.  Maybe they can send me home with like my belly button. 

 The surgeon's not crafting you a new belly button?!?!

Sure they'll take your old belly button.  But they'll give you a new one!

Believe me you won't miss it.     Yea, I agree, why no belly button.  I have a new and cuter version.

I like my belly button its where I was connected to my mommie.  Yes I am 26 and I just used the word mommie--but I am so used to my scars to get rid of them its kinda like getting rid of a past life.  I never thought I would miss them.  Very odd.
