First, let me start by saying thank you so much for your replies on my previous post.  I was a little concerned about how I was going to handle my pain.

I had a Lot of swelling today and I didn't think it was normal.  My husband wanted me to see my PS.  When I got there he took a look and said I'm perfectly normal and doing just fine.  He also gave me a script for more percaset (spell)  He said he didn't think I was ready to be off of it all together but to try to get by with one more often then two.  That sounded better to me.  I have my swelling in my back.  My back boobs are almost as big as the front ones.  He said that is from sitting in a reclining position that all the fluid is settleing there and will go away with time.  For me to continue to take it easy and I will be fine.  I also called my WLS about the advil.  He said I could take the advil as my PS advised with aciphex and teriphex (spell)  for a short time it would be ok.  So I will try that along with the other meds I'm taking.

I feel like I'm doing pretty well with everything I've had done, just got a little freaked out today.  Its hard to know whats normal and whats not.  When I had my WLS I got a Hematoma(I think thats what they called it)  and I had to have an incision openend up and left to drain.  That was no fun.  So all I was thinking today is that they are going to cut open my back boob and do the same!  NO FUN AT ALL!

I should have had more confidence in my PS.  He is a wonderful surgeon and knows what he's doing.

Thanks to you all for your support!  I really needed it!
Hugs
Kim J.!

Sweetie.. the only thing I can say is.. follow you're doctors orders. If you still need the pain meds, take them... if you feel like you can use the OTC then go for that. Trust me, soon you'll be feeling better.

It is VERY scary to think of unending, unstoppable pain, with no relief in sight.  I am so glad you got a prescription for some stronger pain relief!

Kim I think it's so great you went to see the PS because even for peace of mind alone it will keep you healthy. It is always better to check whenever anything doesn't feel right. I am so glad you are doing ok, got some more pain meds and know that all this is normal. Hope you are feeling better soon!
