Hello I went to my PCP today for blood work...I am a wls patient going on 7 months out. I mentioned to him that I need a tummy tuck. He said at one year out he will measure my pannus and send it to the plastic department. If I fit the guidelines he said a couple of months later I would be having surgery...
OK so I heard from some on here that I need documented rashes and stuff. and even dermatology appointments. He said he will send his request for my surgery at one year and if it hangs so far to my pubic bone I will have a strong chance of getting it covered. How do I transfer to a plastics doc in westhills Los Angeles I heard they are better. ANd how do they figure out more portion I want a full tuck....
WHAT DID YOU DO TO GET IT COVERED????
I paid for my own wls will that be in my favor???
If it is a bunch of crap I will just continue on with my plan to shell out more $$$$$
