I've met with Dr. Agha several times (for my own consult as well as seeing him do a few presentations, as well as going to support a few friends who also have had consult with him). Actually, I just saw him today as my friend was there for her pre-op appointment...
Anyhoo, I had the SAME question as you did. Dr. Agha explained to me that the photo that you are looking at was one of his first LBLs. He has since made improvements to the way he does the procedure so there is no more butt gap.
So, I am personally no longer worried about that.
