Question on Arm surgery

I am thinking of  having my arms done as my last plastics, however I am thinking of getting my last Tattoo on my top of my left arm. I dont think this would effect a tattoo since the arms are done underneath however has anybody heard any problems if you have a tattoo on the top of the arm?   Thanks Gail

They may be cutting and stitching on the bottom but the stretching and pulling of the skin encompasses the whole upper arm.  If it were me I would wait.

I have a tattoo on my shoulder that was not affected by my arm lift, but I would wait if you are planning on having your arms done soon, get the tattoo after the arms heal.  The stretching of the arms may affect a tattoo even on the upper outside portion of the arm.

Hi, Thanks for all of your advice. I will get the Tattoo, but after I have my arms done. Sometime down the road!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am moving to AZ and what a job anyway now. I hope to be moved there by November. Anybody recommend a good plastics doctor there?     Gail
