Thighlift and Insurance?
Hey guys,
I have a few questions. First I am seeing an orthatpedic surgeon next week to talk about what has been going on with my knees. My PCP has started treating me about a year ago for fluid retention and pain in both knees. She put me on meloxicam and HTC(fluid pill). Both of these medications affect both your liver and kidneys. My sister only has one kidney and they don't know if at some time down the road she might need a transplant and with me being her twin I might be a match. My sister almost died in 2007 because her liver almost shut down and in 2004 my mom had plates put in her left knee because a simple fall broke it.
What I am saying is that I have a long family history of medical condition and I am choosing not to go down any of those roads.
My question are this...
1. Has anyone had an orthopedic surgeon tell them that removing the skin on your thighs and knees will help with the swelling and inflammation?
2. Has anyone had Medcost aprove a Thighplasty?
I guess that is all for now I appreciate any and all help you gals can give me.
