What plastic sprocedure(s) did you have?
What type of compression garment did you wear (what area did it cover)?
How long did you have to wear it?
Did you feel like a wet noodle that was going to topple over once you were allowed to go without it?
Thanks so much!
Kim

Hi Kim,
I see you are from my hometown. I had an LBL and brachio done in July. I have a vestlike garment for my arms. I was given this to wear at 2 weeks out. When I was 4 weeks out and had to go back to work I was told I didn't have to wear it 24/7. I was allowed to have it off during the day and then wear it at night. I did wear it for about a week to work just because I felt I was swelling too much. W/o it now I actually feel fine. I also have one around my waist for the LBL. I have been wearing this 24/7 since my surgery. Not sure when I won't have to wear it I go back on 9/17 for my next follow-up. When I do have it off for a shower or when it's being washed I feel fine. Sometimes it feels like you still have it on because your abs are so tight still.
Good luck to you in whatever surgery you decide to have.
