I am 2 years out from RNY and down 114 pounds.  I have maintained now for about 7 months and can't budge anymore.  I am starting to feel puffy.  I am considering a tt but have a lot of scar tissue from a Hysterectomy that feels hard in there and am wondering if that would prevent me from a tt.  Can they remove that as part of the surgery?  I'm in WI so any suggestions on Dr's and cost estimates are appreciated.

I'm not sure about the scar tissue issue....but go get  few consultations. They're usually free, get accuarate information from a professional.

I went to an OH event earlier this year and got 4 free consultations from surgeons who specialize in WLS patients.

I had two hysterectomies - long story - and I had an LBL without incident.  The old scar stuff was cut out completely.  I can't speak to the cost in WI but in San Diego a TT cost about $10 thousand.

Thank you.  I am just beginning and have a lot of money to save up so I will be sure to get a few opinions and really research the Dr's before I make that final decision.  I look at pictures on posts here and so many people look so good and happy after surgery.  A little pain can make a huge difference for the rest of your life.

YOU ARE SOOOOOOOO RIGHT.  I was 327 pounds and went down to 140 before i had my tummy tuck and breast lift.  I hated my body more after losing my weight than i did when i was fat.  Since my tummy tuck and yes some pain I really like me now and feel i have accomplished something.  I am going in september to have my arms done and thats it for this year.  Giving myself some time to heal  ( and pay off some of my bills) before i take on my thighs and butt.

Congrats on your weight loss and your goal in plastic surgery.  You won't regret it.
