Is there as much swelling for a panni removal as a tummy tuck?

I'm having the extra skin removed. no tightening of the stomach musles at all.. so will there be the same amount of swelling?

I had panni removal and was very swollen for a couple of weeks.  At first I was really nervous about it, but it got better after a couple of weeks.  Good Luck to you

I had a panni removal 3 weeks ago and my swelling is almost gone. I was amazed how much it hurt...not at the incision but all over under the stomach where he pulled the skin down. It feels still like i have a girdle on as the skin is so tight. Besides the pain meds someone here suggested putting ice on it. It helped A LOT so I would recommend getting 2 of the large soft gel ice packs that will strap around your stomach.

In spite of the pain I am extremely happy I did it!!!
