Anyone had a thigh lift more than a year ago?

I'd really like to hear about the scars.  How noticeable are they -- are they the same color as the rest of your skin?  Is it worth it?

I am only 2 months out, but hell yes it was worth it.  I will take ugly scars over thay hanging skin any day.  Not that my scars are that bad....

I had a thigh lift a week ago.  Have you been to a consult yet?  I do not have scars down my leg.  He lipo'd my thigh and sliced my crease that my underwear or bathing suit will hide.  Even if I had scars down my thigh and calf, I would take the scar over the skin I had.  I hated my thighs and there was just no hiding that.  At least a scar could be hidden.  Nothing hid my wrinkles, except jeans. 

Thanks for the reply.  I haven't been to a concult yet, I still have more weight to lose. I already have loose skin.

Did you have your TL in Pensacola?

Another question -- did the incision along the groin get rid of all the loose skin on yiur thighs?  Did it help your knees?

I went to Dr. Clark in Destin.  He has a lot of experience on bypass patients.  My thighs sagged on the insides.  it looked like a bulldog's face with all the wrinkles.  I am still in my compression garment and they are bruised pretty bad from the lipo so I am still waiting for the final outcome.  I don't have the wrinkles, but my skin is not tight like I thought it would be.  For some reason I thought I was going to have tight, firm thighs.  I go back on the 27th so I will ask him about that.  Maybe if I got a LBL, then it would be tight since he would pull the outer thigh?

Hmm...I'd be curious to know the answer. When I was trying to figure out which I want, I was grabbing and lifting the sking at the top of my leg. Aprarently, that's too much. My surgeon said that the small thigh lift will smooth wrinkes, but not really firm/lift the thigh. I'ld like to get away without the big scar though, so let me know what you think about your results.
