First PS Consult Tomorrow...HELP!
Hi Everyone!
I am new to writing here. I read on and off when I can. I am inspired by all of you. I am having my first PS consult tomorrow and and a little lost. Know a few things but not quite sure of what are some important things to ask (besides how much will this cost ). I have lost 160 pounds and pretty much need every area taken care of. Anything anyone can help me with here would be really great! Thank you all!
Kim

Hi Kim, I'm with you on this one! I'm having my first PS consult tomorrow, too, and to tell the truth, I'm scared to death! Not so much of the surgery itself, but I'm afraid she will say I'm not ready for plastics. Or something equally discouraging. Here are a few of the questions I plan on asking:
Are you board certified?
Where will the surgery take place? Will an anestesiologist be there?
Do you charge for revisions if they are necessary?
How long for recovery and when can I exercise again?
I'm aiming for a tummy tuck and am also going to ask if the TT will include work on the mons area and what about above the belly button? And will I keep my belly button?
I hope that helps a little. I wish you the best tomorrow and look forward to hearing more about your "big adventure in plastics land" later.
