Aug 7th

Well Aug 7th is the day.  I am scared and excited.  I am just afraid I am going to die.  I am having surgery in Destin, FL with Dr. Clark.  He is doing a scar revision, BA and medial thigh left.  He does not think he is going to cut me down my leg, just in my crease.  I am hving a LBL with Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey, Mexico in a few months so I am looking forward to that as well.  I was planning on going to Mexico and having everything done at once, it would have been cheaper.  lol

I have to check in at 5:45am on the 7th. The hospital is 2 hours away so I will be getting up at the butt crack of dawn, if I can even get to sleep. 

Are you sure about the date??

fyou know, i have the same fear of dying.  however, the odds are way in our favor that we won't.  hang in there and good luck. vick

Awww, now that makes more sense....Aug 7th isn't far off.
Most people have the same fear (going to die), including me, but as the anesthesiologist reminded me just a few days ago, it is very very rare that anything goes wrong.  I still worry a little but not as much as I used to.
