I clearly remember my first shower at my upper body (breast/ brachioplasty/ lower face and neck lift) lift last November. My hair was stiff from the dried blood but my ears were so swollen that I waited one day longer after the doctor gave me permission to shower. When I did go in (with my the of my husband who would be washing my hair) I asked him to PLEASE don't touch my ears since they hurt really badly. Well after the shower I remembered why I had given up "romantic" showers years ago....it's really cold for the person not standing under the shower head!

So advice to you all who will be having surgeries during the fall/winter months is to be sure to warm the bathroom first. We both almost froze if we weren't standing directly under the water.

Thanks for the fond memory of surviving that part of my recovery.

It was incredibly exhausting. Buy some good smelling body wash. You'll appreciate the smell.

I am going for my pedicure this week, before my last (hopefully) round of plastics next  week.
