What is your best piece of advice for someone who is having the panni removed?
Don't look back. I don't think you'll regret it at all. Depending on where your drains are, be prepared to be less active than you might think. My drains were down there in the fold of the leg to vaginal area and any attempt to do stuff caused problems.
I had my panni removed almost 4 months ago now and I'm extremely pleased. I also had hernia repair and tummy tuck (all covered by insurance!), so that was a bonus. I still can't stretch to reach plates on the top shelf -- I get a kid to do that for me -- because my stomach is so tight.
Good luck!
