Binder question

I'm 8 days post op from my TT and feel great!

Can you guys share with me any site you have used for ordering a binder?

I have the one from my surgery...and it's great!  But I want to order another that's a bit smoother under clothes.  I will continue to wear the one the surgeon gave me until he tells me.....but I want to order one to have ready when he gives me the OK to sop wearing one.

I just think I'll feel better continuing to wear one.  I don't think the "Spanks" will give me enough support.

Thanks!

Suzanne

Hi, I was lucky to get two from the hospital and that's all I needed but I suspect you could get one from a medical supply store or a drug store.

Those are all great websites for the surgical heavy duty garments, and they do have garments for further along, but it sounded to me like you meant something more light weight?  Alot of people like the Flexees you can buy at Kohls and other dept stores.  Some have been happy with Spanx MUCH further down the road.  I actually was desperate waiting for a replacement binder (mine got waaaay too loose after surgery), and bought 2 Flexees and layered them.  They actually gave me as much support as my surgical binder when combined!  But the problem with these types is you lose the ability to zip, hook & eye, or have crotchless access.  If you are still sore and tender this can pose a problem.  Also, if you are like me and still have areas of skin, you might struggle to get it over those areas!

You're right about those flexees being hard to get on!  I went to Kohls a few days ago and I about had to take breaks to get those darn things on!  LOL  I must have been in the dressing room at least an hour.  I got every style they had and sometimes in 2 sizes because I didn't know what size I'd need.  I really hate losing the crotchless part of them though.  I can't imagine having to take those firm control ones off and on each time I go to the bathroom.

hey....I have done 4 rounds of plastics and get all my stage 2 garments from makemeheal.com  I like the rainey garments the best because the material is more smooth and comfortable!!!
Good Luck

LOL I gave up trying to get the right size...I need a small but got a medium after killing myself trying the small on!  I am thinking about cutting the crotch out on these, but am worried it will unravel.  But once on, I just don't go potty until I get home and can change back into my surgical binder!  I only use the Flexees right not when my surgical one shows under my clothes...they are comfy once on though!
