Back to work for me tomorrow!

I'm 4.5 weeks out and am headed back to work tomorrow! I feel totally ready but I will tell you this last week make all the difference in the world! I'm finally feeling more alert and have more energy. I'm sure the first week will be tiring just getting back into the habit of a regular schedule. I have truely rested during my time off work and it has paid off.

I will get my husband to take pics in a few days but my scars are looking MUCH better and my mons is not quite as swollen. My tummy area seem to be holding it's own as well. I don't think I'll end up with much of a waiste but thats ok, its still SO much better than before!!  I hope going back to work will not increase the swelling much.

I have gained so much support and info from this site...I just love you gals!

Good luck going back to work but still take it easy.  I'm lucky, I work in a school district and I get to stay home until Aug 13th.  I had my surgery June 30th.  Let us know how your first day back goes.  I loves this sight also, I was so ready for my TT after reading everything people shared.

Hey Susan,
Thanks, it was a good day. I'm tired though and will be in the bed early tonight. I did really great the first half the day then I could tell myself getting tired after lunch. I had a Drs appt at 245 so just came on home after that. Luckily I have an awesome boss and a pretty flexibly work schedule.

Hey Vickie!
I took it easy today! I opened my computer and had 1300+ emails unread...WHEW...gonna take a while to get through those! I am going to ease myself back into the daily grind this week. It was a good day but I'm tired now.

Good luck going back to work.  Take it easy, drink lots of fluids, and maybe take a nap!

WOW you're a trooper to go back that quick. Many do it but it seems to take me longer than most to get over the anesthesia. Let me know how your day went!!

Congrats! I hope you keep on getting better; good luck to you and please keep on posting your progress.  Do you have before and after pics?  I had my TT last Tuesday.  I had the drainers removed today; my legs are still swollen but I feel good overall.
