I had to get it bigger than what I am because my incisions are still healing and it can't fit too tight or snug - but..............

It's a 42D....... SINGLE D!!!! and the cup has ROOM in it so I will probably try some C's in a few weeks!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to wear a 56L when I was 386lbs...... I haven't seen a single D since one of my middle school REPORT CARDS!!!!!!!!!! YYAAAAHHHHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

**insert cartwheel turning icon here** THIS is what's it's all about - SOOOO worth it!!!!

@ schlepping in the mall.... ummmm - would it make it better to say that this Macy's is a stand alone, so I wasn't technically in a mall????

I am hoping I actually am a C - I bought this bra a little big to make sure it didn't irritate my still healing zones - so we will see!

Girl, you crack me up! LOL Congrats on getting into a single D! I had a breast lift too and Iooks like I'm gonna be a B. Darnit! Good thing I'm short. I wanted to be a C but oh well!

Did you let them measure you or did you just start trying them on? I have no clue what size I am going to be. I was barely filling a C cup with all the loose skin. I'm thinking now I'm probably a D. I'm going to wait a bit until they've dropped and then venture out myself. I can't wait to actually be able to shop for bras and have options!

I learned after my WLS to go to places where they offer fittings. Just after WLS, I was wearing a 48DDD - went a got fitted - walked out wearing the 56L.

I had the lady measure me and help me find a bra - I haven't bought a bra 'on my own' since WLS - being fitted means everything. Most department stores offer it free, and you can always find your size then buy a bra wherever else.

Hurray !! for bra shopping! I haven't bought any bras yet, but when I see size 32C in stores, I can't believe that's gonna be my size! - Coming from a size 42F (@ 215 lbs), to now a 32C (@ 137 lbs), is amazing! What kind of bras did you get? My surgeon said no underwires ( which is what I've worn ALL my life), for a WHOLE year!

I know, right??? I saved the tag from the bra just so I can see it! LOL

I got a no underwire, smooth line bra by Bali. It doesn't really do that much support wise, but at this stage I can't wear anything that TRULY lifts and seperates - so it's just a light support bra.
