Product alert: shower fee hair washing

Yesterday my mom and I were out and about looking for 4 inch velcro wraps for my upcoming surgery (which proved impossible so I had to order online).  Anyway, we went to an old pharmacy that apparently has a large selection on medical/home supplies and we saw this



It is a blow up sink to wash your hair in while laying in bed!  I wish I had seen this 5 weeks ago!  If you google inflatable bed sink or inflatable shapoo sink you should should come up with sources to buy.  I think it runs around $30.

It definitely looks interesting!, but I can just picture water spilling all over. I didn't wash my hair for over a week after surgery!, I know, horrible! There is also that dry shampoo that might work.

Lol..I didn't wash my hait the first week either.  I got some of the dry shampoo...it's ok, but if you have waited too long between shapoos you have to reapply a few times.

Interesting. I had my arms/breasts done on Wednesday, and I would love to have my hair washed.

But in terms of hygiene, let's just all be glad I change my underweaer. That's enough these days.

I had my RNY at Virginia Mason in Seattle, WA.  The morning after my surgery, the nurse came in and said she was going to wash my hair, so I started to get out of bed and she said, "no, just lay back and relax."  This is what they used.  It was awesome and felt so good to have clean hair.  My sister searched and found a similar product here at home at Walgreens and got some right away for me to use at home until I could shower.
