PICS are in my profile for friends only.
It has been an amazing ride. I will say that first of all Dr. Sauceda has made me a happy woman.
His work is amazing and my PCP has commented at EVERY visit how amazing my scarring and healing has gone.

The things I have learned this past 6 weeks:
1) Do NOT over do it - I DID.  I went back to work too early and did too much - my upper abs got VERY swollen and stiff and the swelling * OUCH!* I also managed to pop my poor belly button open a tiny bit but it healed in 3 days thankfully!

2) Even with the skin gone I catch myself NOT loving me every once in awhile - I even put on a dress one day and thought - gee I see NO difference...YES my mind is still fat and flabby...but I know my body isnt...I am STILL working on that!

3) Vitamin E oil is great - it has helped the small sections I had that were wet and kind of "open" heal nicely.

4) Swelling is GOING to happen, I am in my garment all day everyday but stopped sleeping with it last week and I swell...ALOT...sometimes 5 pounds in a day and 8 inches...YES I had to measure!

5) Breast implants are HEAVY at first! Well mine are anyways - I have 550CC Gel implants and going from NO breasts to these babies - well...as great as they are there was a couple of weeks where I was hoping someone could CARRY the girls for me!

I am now wearing a 36/38 D...depends how swollen my upper ab area determines which band size I wear. NONE of my tops fit though - I had always hunted for tops that had NO breast darts ( on the side under your arm) because I had NO breasts and having floppy fronted shirts was gross - so now EVERY single shirt I own ( except T-shirts) is TOO tight! LOL...I love that though...I have had so much fun trying on tops - havent found a favorite style yet but I am loving the flat tummy round breast silhoutte!
Pants I am in a 14 because I want nothing sqeezing me at all ( can get into my 10's but OUCH!)
I feel like my hips are HUGE right now but I guess that happens when they take the BLOB of skin off of your stomachand flatten you out! I have almost full sensation in both of my breasts, and weird numbness down low on my tummy ( similar to the numbness after a section). I love my waist and am hoping I can start working out soon - the stiffness is the only thing I really hate...that whole not "hanging out" thing is hard...I feel like I have done sit ups most of the day!

All in all it has been great - I haveNO regrets and would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I love reading your post especially the things that you learned in the last 6 weeks. I am a fellow Dr S patient (am in Monterrey now) and yes the breast do lighten up, at least mine did but you got a little more than I did.  I didnt think I would ever go without a bra again but to my delight, I can go braless without feeling top heavy!

I am so happy for you that YOU are happy. In the end how we feel is all that counts. CONGRATS!!

Before you know it the time will have passsed and you will be doing it all just like before and maybe even more. Enoy the newer you!

I am with you, I would do it again and have.

Love my PS!  Dr Sauceda you ROCK!

So glad all went well & you are happy!  Please let us know if there is anything perticular that you think  would help to bring with us.  It is so funny how it always takes longer for the brain to catch up with the physical changes.

Hugs,
Fab

Hey You!
I've been wondering how you are! I'm so glad you posted and that you are doing well. You look AMAZING!!!! I'm loving that waiste you have! I seem to be straight down right now, not much of a waiste and I'm not sure if it's due to swelling or if that is just how it's gonna be. I'm thinking it may be a little swelling but I dont think I'll have those curves that you do. Your scars are healing well too. You have every right to be happy with those results!
I'm feeling like my hips are big too but I think it's just the new body. I can wear my old 16 stretch jeans because of the selling but have mainly been wearing dresses and pull on work out pants.
I go back to work on Monday and feel that I'm ready.

bama - THANKS...I AM loving my curves - was worried that I wouldnt HAVE a waist after all was said and done - the PS I saw first here in Canada told me I would never achieve a natural waist without breaking my lower ribs...LMAO...shows you what HE knew!
Take it easy at work - I TRIED but I am NOT good at taking it easy - now I am paying for it!

So have the girls dropped?  Mine still haven't at 3 weeks, so I am starting to wonder...definately are heavier!  We will have to work on the back and shoulder muscles just to carry these things around:)

I'd love it if you added me to friends so I can see your results!

Added you and YES the girls have "dropped" somewhat - I think they are sitting where they will stay for awhile - I had NO breasts to speak of prior so no nice shelf for them to slide into at all...but they sit against my upper tummy nicely now and I can catch popcorn in my bra! LOL...which I find to be a treat unlike my GFs who have always had breasts! They hate that - I am fascinated by it!
I WILL need to be working out building some back and shoulder muscles...they are MUCH heavier then I expected! But its all good!
