I first want to thank everyone on this message board for all their advice and insight.  I had my TT last Tuesday.  I am doing very well, better than expected.  I have not taken any pain medication at all.  I'm sore and tender but not in any pain.  I was lucky that the Dr. did not have to tighten my ab muscles.  He said I had the best abs he has ever seen.  I can thank Jazzercise with all the dancing abs and core work we do in every class.  The tightening of the muscles is what makes recovery more painful and since I didn't have that I'm doing great.  I would suggest that anyone that is considering getting a TT start now working on those ab muscles, you won't be sorry.  I go to the Dr.'s today, I wish I could get the drains out, but I doubt it since they are still draining.  Hopefully by the end of the week.  Good luck to everyone that is scheduled for surgery.  Next I'm going to look into breast reduction and a mini arm lift.

Smiles,

Hi Surgery buddy
I had my anchor TT and breast lift last monday June 29th also.  The first day or two i was going "what was i thinking"  but more because of extreamly low hemoglobin and blood pressure. Now my family see's great differences in me from day to day.  I also see my plastic surgeon today to get all these bandages off. I haven't seen anything yet.  I am not fighting the drains because this doctor does not use drains for tummy tuck or breasts.  I am going to talk to him about scheduling my arms for september.

Congratulations on your surgery and recovery so far.  Wishing the rest of your journey is uneventful.  Have you seen  your unveiling yet?  are you excited?

Happy to hear that everything is going so well!

I'm also interested in the mini arm lift.  Have some excess skinn & it looks like a fairly simple pull & tuck would do the trick.  I'm seeing my new BFF (also referred to as Plastic Surgeon) in ? Sept. & will check on it then.

Alas, all the exercise in the world won't restore torn abs from pregnancy.  Mine were about 1 1/2in. part.

I'm still plagued 5 mos. after with some swelling & numbness.  Oh, well.  Still, I'd do it again hands down.  Flat belly- yahoo!  I'm still learning my new center of gravity, though.  Tight abs don't really bother me, although I do feel it in simple stretches!

Yahoo for all of us!
