UHC (HMO) & Platics Approval

Hey All,

Need some help. Has anyone heard of succes w/ getting approval for Arm lift, TT, & Breast Lift w/ United Healthcare? I am about to begin pursuing my plastics, and I'd like to be armed w/ all the info possible. Also, doesn't anyone in GA know of a good plastic sugeon who has had success in getting approvals? Thanks in advance!

I have Pacificare (HMO) AKA United Health Care. Last week my PCP sent in my referral to our HMO group. I had previously called Pacificare and asked them if they would cover a TT and Brachioplasty for me due to chronic back pain, and they said yes.

I am waiting on the approval from the HMO. If you want, I can let you know what the outcome is. I would need you to PM me so I will have a way to contact you. I do not normally hang out o this board, I am normally on the R&R board.
