You know I have been really fortunate and not had anyone tell me (to my face anyway) that I took the easy way out EXCEPT my personal trainer!!!!  Well not directly to me but she was pushing fitness and how so many people could lose all their excess weight if they invested in exercise and fitness and healthy eating instead of taking the "easy way out!!  grrrrrr

I've not had anyone say it directly to my face either.  When I first had the RNY, I had to go back into the hospital 2 weeks later due to complications and one of the nurses told me that the ER doc had said something to the effect of me getting what I deserved for trying to take the easy way out.  A few people have said things about WLS in front of me not aware that I've had surgery.  Once, I told the offending person that I had WLS - she became very red in the face and flustered and mumbled something as she quickly dashed off....people should really think before they speak.
