Dog ears
Is this a common thing? Surgeon error? Due to a lot of excess skin? Any way to prevent ? If the surgeon is a good one are the chances less likely to happen? I have already talked to my PS and he did discuss cutting hip to hip but he didn't say anything about dog ears or anything close to imperfection. The photos he showed of other patients looked really good.

I feel the same way. I saw some pics of them yesterday. They vary in intensity. I really want my waist tapered, so dog ears are a big issue to me. I am going to make it very clear to my ps that I am aware that the lack of proper stitching will produce dog ears and I DO NOT WANT THEM nor do I want a promise that a free repair is in the future. So discuss the issue with your ps like I will do next week.
Take care.
Take care.
