I would suggest that you pay the additional fee  (mine's was $1500) for the extension. I didn't want the dog ears. However, they can be concealed. Good luck

Thank you. I viewed your pics. Good job. I meet with the surgeon next week so I will discuss dog ears and other things as well. I am so excited.
OT: I have a friedn who lives in Cedar Hill but teaches in DISD. I visit her sometimes. I will be at the Dallas event in September....are you attending?

if you wind up with dog ears they can be removed in the office with a local and there is usually no charge ask your surgeon

pardon my lack of knowledge, but what are you referring to when you say dog ears?  This is a new term to me.

When you have a TT, you are usually cut from hip to hip.  When the surgeon reaches your sides and if he does not tighten, cut and taper your skin properly...you will be left with either small or in my case a large dog ear.  A dog ear is a chunk of fat/skin that sticks out and it looks like the shape of a dog's ear.

I had dog ears that stuck out quite a bit on both hips but massaged them along with my incisions and they went away without needing any additional procedures.
