Hi Kristina
I have been keeping my legs elevated but not above my hips, I'll try that! I'm in a recliner most of the time when I'm sitting so I'll just lean it back further.
THANKS!

Hey Nicole!
Can you tell there is as much fluid as when you went the first time to have it drained? Hopefully it will all dry up soooooon!!!!!!

It is nice to know that others are out there with the same issues I have...LOL.....  I have grown to understant what patience is over my last 2 years of plastic surgery!  My thighs was my final surgery and I am glad I saved them for last.....the have been the toughest for me!
My doc told me to expect to keep my drain at least another month...I asked him if he was on drugs...LOL>....I know that on days  like today I am thankful to have it...I have put out 350cc of fluid which would still be inside of me making me swell worse than I already am!!
I had a seroma, that is why they placed the drain....for me my body responds better to drains than to have the seromas drained with needles (I have a bad reaction to lidocane used for numbing)
Did I tell you that I do not tend to swell until like 2 weeks out of surgery.  I had my inital drains removed within 6 days of surgery because I was not putting out any fluid and then 10 days later in went a new drain because of a seroma and massive amounts of fluid......
I guess you could call me a late Bloomer!!!  LOL
good luck to you all

Week three was the WORST!!!!!!!!!!! I was one of those that felt prego - mornings were better, nights were misery. I iced them for 15-20 min before going to bed, it seemed to help me although some docs don't like ice for whatever reason (prob afraid you'll fall to sleep and get frost bite or something).

I was sitting here all concerned about my swelling waiting on my doctor's office to open. After reading all of this I feel what I'm experiencing is normal. I am swelling more on the left side of my stomach and there appears to be a large egg on that side as well. The left side is harder than the right and I suspect it maybe a seroma but I'm praying that it's not. I'm 25 days post-op from a tt and arms and I'm still swelling. I wear my compression garments day and night only remove them to shower. Can't wear any of my jewelry as they are too small due to the swelling. I will hang tough and ride this ride to the end of my journey. I want to see the lights soon!
