No Seroma, Just Normal Swelling!
I had my 2 week post op this and was prepared to have him drain some fluid from swelling that has occured over the last couple of days. He assured me that it was just normal swelling that I would experience so NO NEEDLES! :)
He removed some stitches, released me to drive, and assured me that I was healing wonderfully and he was happy with my progress. I do still have those troublesome sutures on my right hip that are red, puffy and tender. He said they were not infected and gave me some petrolium gauze to put on them so they don't stick to the regular gauze or my tshirt.
As it stands right now my return to work date will be July 13th, which I feel confident will be enough time. ( 4.5 weeks total)
I'm going to up my water intake and keep an eye on the sodium in hopes of getting rid of this swelling soon. It's not painful or even bothersome except when I look in the mirror. LOL

YAHOO, it's good to hear of someone with no problems. I was REALLY fortunate not to have had any either. Hope the "no problems" continues for you!!
