Okay - one drain out and every other staple out.  I had prepared myself for that seeing as the one drain was still draining quite a bit.  At least the drain that came out was the one that had me bent over limping in pain.  I already feel better just having that one out.  I'm hoping to be able to sleep on that side tonight and finally get some rest!  Everything else comes out Monday - regardless.  I can make it one more week....

Jessica,
One down one to go!! Glad he removed the one that was the most bothersome!

I know what you mean about getting some rest! I was just able to sleep on my left side two nights ago and it did make a difference. I still have a hard time going to sleep but can now get more comfortable.

Hang in there! :)

I'm happy to hear you're feeling better about this.  Just knowing the end date helps, doesn't it?  I had one out this morning with two left and they're coming out for sure in a week.  Just knowing that helps.

For some reason being able to see that light at the end of that longggg tunnel really does help. I am so happy for all of you. Here is hoping the rest of your recovery is uneventful and speedy!!!!Kristina

Oh, knowing that end date definitely does make a difference!  I came home and took a nap - and when I got up - I walked!  Normally.  Upright.  It felt amazing.  Yeah, I can make it one more week.  Btw, Zappre, your pictures are unbelievable!  Way to go - you look fantastic ;)

I have not had my surgery yet but those drains look so uncomfortable.  So glad you got at least one out.

Happy sleeping tonight!!!
