Taking it easy is tops on my list today...LOL
Did call the doctors office and was told it was probably a reaction to anesthesia, and to just keep track of it.  I see the doc tomorrow.

I had something similar happen with my first shower.

I was so excited to be given the OK for a shower. I came home from the doctors office & told my husband, "Hurry!! Get your shower & get out! I can FINALLY have a shower." He said "No,,you go ahead first." I told him No,, I wanted no one waiting for me to hurry up. When I got in,,I was staying in forever!

I ran the shower, got all my best smelly soaps & shampoos ready, & jumped in there. Shampooing my hair, I started to feel real dizzy & lightheaded. My legs started wobbling and I got out. I've never passed out before but I remember thinking "this must be what it feels like." I was going to call for my husband but I knew he'd never hear me.  I got out and stood by the sinks for awhile in the cooler air. All of a sudden I started throwing up.. and had to go to the bathroom at the same time. SICK!!!  Real sick. All I wanted to do was go lay down. But I still had that shampoo all over my hair! I finally felt just alittle better & got back in the shower just long enough to rinse my hair. I dried off, wrapped my compression back on & sports bra and carefully laid myself down on my bed. My husband eventually came in the bedroom & was scared when he saw me...asked me what happened. He was angry that I hadn't called for him.

That was a one time thing only. Never have had a shower problem since then,,,but it did remind me to let my husband know when I'm going in so he can lsiten if I need help!!

Hopefully you won't have that problem again either..but let someone know when you're in there!!

I got dizzy for weeks after surgery, especially when I showered (and I did not have LBL or wear that particular compression garment).

Do you have a shower chair?   It helps, but mostly you will soon recognize the earliest feelings of lightheadedness.   Just stop what you are doing immediately at the earliest feeling (I get a little nauseous and my vision gets spotty) and get somewhere you can lie down or sit down and put your head back and breath deeply for a while, even if you're soaking wet.

I had this happen postop in the hospital and twice at home.  Both times were when I was out of the garment and taking a hot shower.. the lack of compression and the warm water vasodialated my blood vessels.. think of expanding in size and that in turn drops your blood pressure.  This is called a "vagal response".  The body is smart and knows it has to lie down to bring the blood pressure back up - thus why it wants to pass out when things are right internally.

Take it easy and be careful.
