1 week and 3 days out - Panni
Hey guys. I am one week and some odd post from my panni. I am feeling pretty good for the most part. So good in fact I went on errand runs yesterday with the hub.
I think I over did it. We went to 4 different stores, in and out, lifting (not heavy stuff), standing and walking. I felt a quick and sudden twinge right above my belly button and the rest of the day I ached at that spot. Eating did not help, it wasnt hunger. Waiting/sleeping did not help, so it wasn't digestion. Water did not help. But the pain meds did. So I am wondering if it was a stretch, or did I pop a stitch.
So far today, I haven't felt it. But I haven't been very active this morning. I am seeing my plastics doctor this afternoon, so I will ask him. I also hope my drains come out today.
Anyone have or gone through that here?

Hi there! I had panni and TT on June 10th and had something sorta smiliar happen a few days ago. I was getting up off the couch and I guess I turned or pulled wrong and something hurt on the right side of my belly button. When I saw the Dr the next day for my follow up he said it was just where he had tightened the muschles as part of the TT and that would happen from time to time. Mine has settled down mostly but still if I turn a certain way it pains quickly, then goes away. I would definatly mention it to your Dr.
Best of luck with your recovery!

Yes, and I still get these warning signs and can be sore for a couple days after... I think it is our bodies saying "cool it!" it can be scary I know. Take it easy and don't overdo!
