My suggestions are repeats but here goes:

some form of protein that you easily tolerate
something for constipation (I have colace)
lip balm
toilet seat riser

Also find out what your doctor likes to use for wound dressing.  I went out and bought gauze, but turns out, mine ikes to make a "train" with sanitary napkins to cover the incisions, so my husband had to make a run to the store.

Good luck!

My suggestion & MY lifesaver?

My pillows!!   LOTS of them!

I didn't use a recliner or hospital bed. I wanted to be in my own bed so I surrounded myself with lots & lots of pillows. At the top tp prop me up, on the sides to cushion my belly and keep me on my back & under my legs to slightly elevate them. My husband calls it my "hamster nest".

I LOVED my pillows & couldn't have made it without them!!
