Thanks Susan.  It is weird to be "unrecognizable", like a whole new me to introduce to the world.  Sometimes I pass by ppl and they don't say hi and I am like "what? are they upset with me? "no melissa, they don't know u any more."  It is cool, but it can be sorta sad sometimes too, I try to remember that it is because of all the hard work I put into this journey.

Very much so, thank you so much.  You aren't too far from my home town it doesn't look like.  I am orginally from Belton, Missouri just south of KC not far from the KS side (olathe, overland park)?

Yes, I've been to Olathe, Overland many times. Stil a few hours from our house, but we go KC several times a year and Missouri often.

Gotcha! I love shopping there! Go a lot with my mom when I visit her.

Aw that really made my day, thank you so much.  I worked my first shift last night and I had a terrific group of patients to get my feet wet again, flawless night.  However, I slept ZERO today.. AHHH so drinking leaded coffee now hoping I can make it until 8am.. 48 hours no sleep, God HELP ME! LOL

I really do appreciate that compliment.. It will get me through the night, no joke.  You are the best, and I have learned so much from you despite all the troubles u have been through, you keep a positive attitude.  I think its just amazing and now your rainbow at the end of the tunnel is finally emerging... and that is killer beautiful!  Thanks again! have a good rest of the weekend Mama.  I could kiss you - for real. LOL

You look so beautiful.  What an absolutely amazing transformation!!  You are radiating happiness.... Congratulations to you!  

I also watched your blog video and found it so touching it made me cry.  Like so many others here, I can relate.  Also, I've been lurking on this board for a few weeks and reading through many posts where you have commented and supported so many, it is clear that you are a beautiful person outside AND inside.
