4 week update from plastics

Hey All

I am doing well and finally starting to feel human again.  I am off work till at least July 6th and starting to get bored.  My hernia surgeon however felt, given all the work he did on top of the plastics it was best to take it easy so I listen.

I am seeing a home care nurse mon wed fri to have my belly button tended to as its healing very slowly.  I am doing my best to jam in the protein to help aid in the healing.

Starting last night I seem to have a problem with my mesh where it feels like its catchiing on something and styaing stuck... I see my plastic surgeon tomorrow morning so am going to mention it to him.. its rather painful.....and keeps happening

Hang in there, you are healing great so far... that belly button is a booger mine took the longest to heal up too. It looks good now but had an open like area for a while, it will get there!! Let your surgeon know for sure about your discomfort - pain like that isn't normal.  Good luck with it all and please keep us posted Marnie!
