Anchor cut TT and swelling question - stupid, but I'm asking....

How long before the swelling under the vertical incision goes down?  I have a well rounded swell in my stomach - yes I am just coming up on two weeks out and just this Monday started being able to wear the compression garment...... but I'm asking anyway!!!!!  LOL

I did not have an anchor cut with my LBL but my incision above my pubis sorta has a small ledge and swelling udner it.  Doc says that swelling and scar tissue and commonly happens as it is the furthest away from the blood supply.  He told me at y 6 wk appointment yesterday to start massaging it.

I told my husband... Great! I get clearance from my surgeon to massage myself "down there"  How HOT is that?  Rock on..

LMAO @ the massage - you are SUPER goofy!!!!!

But hell - that is kinda hot to have a PRESCRIPTION to massage it.....

haha... too funny.... I have to say that I was concerned at first about that area as it stuck out pretty far.... but its 4 weeks now and it has reduced a lot.... its almost as flat as my belly now. :)  I took a side pic the other day so when I post you can see that its not sticking out so much.

Now THAT is reassuring.... not that I was going to have a problem if it didn't go all the way down cause swollen it's still flatter than what I was before......
