Looking at my feet!
I had plastics on May 22-arm lipo, bilateral flank lipo, abdominoplasty--no muscle and legs. WOW! Surgery lasted about 4 hours with 2 surgeons working. I came home the same day with no drains--they used a new procedure on my legs that involves inner stitiching--so didn't use drains. Unfortunately, I ended up with the same complication that happened after my RNY--I ended up with ribs out of place in my back, and after two weeks and numerous visits to the chiropractor--I still feel like I have a knife in my back--makes sleeping pretty difficult.
Other than that...the surgeon said when they do legs, that they expect to have complications in 100 percent of the patients! Good odds huh!! I had 74 staples removed last week and stitches removed from my belly button. I started feeling really good and not spending enough time with my legs up, and ended up with fluid build up in my legs and an infection in one of my legs. So now I"m on antibiotics, hotpacking my leg for the infections and laying around with my legs in the air looking at my feet!! Pretty dang boring!!
I guess my only bit of advice at this point is--just because they CAN do a lot of work at one time for a good price doesn't mean you should actually get it all done in one shot. It was an awful lot to take on at one time..but it's done and I can't go back now!!
Have a great Saturday!!

So sorry to hear that you are having problems. Just plain 'ole recuperating is hard enough without having complications. I had that back thing just like you after my VSG, I was at the chiropractor for 3 1/2 weeks but thought it had something to do with the gas they blow you up with. I didn't have it after my TT though!! Good luck to you and take it easy!!

Awe Kristi! You poor thing. You have had a lot done at once and I am sure besides your back it had to take the wind out of your sails. I was in OR for 7 hours, 2.5 in recovery and wow did it ever take it out of me... I can only imagine how you are feeling right now.
You got er done though and hopefully it gets better from here. I am thinking of you and sending good thoughts your way sweetie!
Hugs! Gentle ones of course!
