Dr. Joseph Capella

Anyone heard of Dr. Joseph Capella's work? He operates out of New Jersey and New York. Just want to know if anyone can recommend him.

I am having my surgery with Dr Capella on 6/17. I am having LBL and breast lift revision. His father Dr Raphael Capella did my gastric bypass in 2005. Dr Joe has done over 5000 surgeries and he specializes in plastic surgeries for people who have had massive weight loss. I will be able to give you alot more detail after my surgery. You could also post your question on the NJ messageboard.
I have had several consultations with Dr Joe. He is very knowledgeable and patient in answering all my questions. I am very confident in him.

 I would encourage you to also consult with Joe Fodero - I did consults with four surgeons including Capella.  He is very well regarded.   I chose Fodero because he was the most conservative of the four in combining procedures and staging.   I had three rounds in 7 months and my outcomes are fantastic.    Susan
