WHERE DO I START?

so, i'm a bit over 3 years out and I'm now looking into plastic surgery. My family and my fiance believe I may be able to get some of it covered by my insurance. (I'm looking into a full body lift by the way!) Did anyone get their plastic surgeries covered by insurance? If so...where did you start?!? HELP!!

I would think you would start by getting a copy of your policy and looking to see if there is an exclusion for reconstructive surgery.  Next I would contact your insurance for a referral to an in network doc.  Or talk to your PCP about a referral if you have to have a referral to see a specialist.

My PCP assumed insurance wouldn't cover anything and didn't bother to submit anything.  I went for a PS consult and they took pictures and submitted the info and I was approved for the panni removal.  I need more, but it is definitely a start!
