Because of the breast lift, I have an incision from the underside up to and around the nipple.  As for the incision for the implant, keep in mind that a saline implant is inserted rolled up and then filled.  It makes for a much smaller incision.  (At least this is the way my surgeon does it.)  Silicone implants are pre-filled and require a larger incision.  Mine are silicone and the incision is under the breast.  Right now, I have a small open place under my right breast.  I am right handed and I think I just overdid things.  About two weeks after surgery, I stretched to turn on the ceiling fan and it was almost like I felt the implant move.  At the time, I still had tape over my incisions.  I look back to that and think I caused the opening then.  I'm not a very good patient.  lol.  Too independent.

As for the beach,  I don't swim.  I hate getting water in my face.  I like to get my feet wet though.  The sand feels so good on my feet.  We're going to the beach in July or August.  Our daughter wants to go ASAP.  I prefer to wait till August.  The prices are cheaper then and hopefully I won't have as much trouble with my tummy swelling.  Some days I look pregnant.  At least my skin is smooth and not all wrinkled.  lol.

I think your price sounds pretty good.  I live in a Tri-State region.  Although I live in Ohio, my surgeon is located in WV.  The surgery was done at a surgery center in Ohio though.  I live about 15 minutes from Ky. and about 25 from WV.  I definately live in an economically depressed area.  Surgery here is probably cheap compared to most areas.  Lucky for me!

Take Care,

Cindy

I can see why you would be nervous about sand. I didn't realize you had a lift too. I will be extra careful to aviod sand in my bathing suit. Thanks again for the advice. Best wishes to you.

Hi, I had a breast lift in Dec.  After the lift I decided I still needed a BA.  I settled on silicone.  I think it feels more natural.  Also, my skin doesn't have alot of elasity and is pretty thin.  I think the saline will show more wrinkles or puckering.

Lifting heavy things?  I know you aren't supposed to after a BA, but i am not sure how far ou you will be able too.  Definately confer with your doctor on that one.

Hope everything works out for you.
