Question about travel

Hi I will be having a thigh lift on June 17th, both inside and outside incisions.  In your opinions will I be able to travel on July 12th?  I have been asked to attend a training in California for the week, and will be flying from Colorado Springs, Colorado.  I will be asking my surgeon in the morning, but just looking to those who have been there done that.

Depending on how your recovery goes, I think you should be fine.  I would get up a few times throughout the flight and walk up and down the aisles to keep your legs moving to avoid possible blood clots.  I know of a few people who have traveled from Mexico about 2 weeks after their PS and even from Brazil at about 3 weeks.  I would definitely run it by your surgeon to see what he thinks.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing as I know some people travel for their surgeries....and yes, I am asking him in the morning, but I had to give the boss an answer tonight.....hope I don't have to change it.

i flew 10 days after my surgery from mexico to indiana, and did ok.
