Tummy Tuck 5/20

Hey guys.  Had my tummy tuck on 5/20.  I have posted pics on my profile.  It hurts like a BIG DOG!  For the first 2 days, I was taking 7.5mg Percocet (2) every 4 hrs.  Today I have been able to scale back to one tablet every 4-5 hrs.  I'm getting out about 300cc of drainage each day from my JP drains.  Got to take a shower today for the first time after surgery and felt like a MILLION dollars!

I've been out walking around in the yard today and to check on my flowers and get my exercise in!

WOW, look how flat you are, do you know how much they took off?  I had 8 lbs. removed. Good luck with your recovery and stay on those pain pills; I say that there is no reason not to be pain free. Also, make sure you get on some stool softeners, those pain pills really clogged me up!!  And make sure someone really waits on you hand & foot, my DH was a doll!!

Holy Smokes......I can't believe that 2 days after a TT you are up and walking and even showing!  AMAZING!

Don't over do it......you need rest.  You just put your body through some trauma and it needs to mend.
Be good to yourself.......get plenty of rest.

I bet in a few weeks when the swelling goes down you be THRILLED with your new look!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Yes Red, it is painful!  But the pain meds help me keep on top of the pain.  The first few days, I had to take 2 every 4 hrs.  Yesterday, I could scale back to 1 every 4-6 hrs.  I noticed the more I was up walking, the better I felt.
