Brandi,

Thank you for your kind words.  I'm about 60 miles east of Dallas. I've heard Dallas is by far one of the most expensive ps places. I'm super bummed over the whole thing today. I'm praying something comes through for me. Thanks for your reply. You are super sweet. Best wishes to you.

Im in a similar boat here. I dont want to spend more than 5k for boobies. Iwas a 42D, now 38C but like you, im not really a c, its just the skin. I also had a baby in July and nursed so really need a fill up:)
I am hoping do just implants, as they will be much less than 5k here, but I want them pointing up. My consult is next Tuesday so I guess I will see what the Dr says.
good luck in figuring out what to do. You should go to a couple of consults so you can get a real feel for what it will cost to get what you need or want.

For the past year I been using a push up bra from Walmart made by Vasarette. Its a beautifull bra with lace, comfortable, that doesnt show through the t shirts. Its only 12 dollars and I have been changing sizes as I shrink. This bra gives you a lot of clevage better than  the VS I tried.

Yes Dallas is high. I had my first ones done in Ft worth. It was 6200 way back then!. Really it wouldnt be a bad drive for you to go to Lubbock or Amarillo to get a better deal or check for docs in the smaller towns around you.  Maybe even go to Oklahoma? Whatever you decide I wish you the best of luck in it!

What about looking into a teaching hospital in your area?  I would think that Texas  would have some even if you have to drive a distance from where you live.  Maybe even in a bordering state.  It can be a huge savings.

I understand about the wrinkly boobs.  I was a 42/44 DD/E before wls.  Now I am a 36D and I am lucky that I didn't lose my volume but I still have all this loose skin so when I'm in any kind of bra I get the old lady boob wrinkles going on and it is sooooo not attractive.

Good luck.

Hi, bandhope.  Congratulations on your fabulous weight loss!  I know what you mean -- I used to have enormous breasts when I was almost 300 pounds, lost some weight, had a breast reduction.  Now, post-WLS, they are little skin bags!  At age 56 and not married, I couldn't care less and am soooo glad not to have those enormous things hanging off me.  You, however, sound considerably younger than I and have a husband looking at you :-) so I can understand wanting to have a more normal bustline.  One suggestion:  Since you are in Texas, have you checked out PS in Mexico?  Now that may seem drastic to you, but a lot of us who had VSG went there, because not that many surgeons in the US do sleeves.  Most of us were absolutely thrilled with our experiences, and the cost is considerably less.  My surgeon recommends a plastic surgeon named Dr. Sauceda, I believe, and people are very pleased with his work.  You might just check his prices at least.  Best wishes!       --Dorothy

I haven't researched having BA, but I see a lot of posts that talk about their insurance paying for some of the work. I say mine look like empty bags now!! haha. My thighs look too bad to be in a bathing suit anyway, so I'm not too worried about my breasts, they look OK in a bra. I'm now a 36D, so I'm leaving the girls alone!!  Good luck!!

I have a friend that paid about $4,800 for a lift at Accent on You in Arlington (Cooper St.).

She went in thinking she'd need an augmentation as well because there was so little tissue, but, they said there was enough to get by with only a lift and she is very happy with her results.

Maybe you can get a consultation for free if you're up for a short drive.
