I know I am going to need a thigh lift at the end of my weight loss journey.

Is there any way to do this without getting cut on the inside of the thigh, lenghtwise to the above the knee?

If not, how long. or what can you do to lessen the scars?

If so.............what other types of procedures are there?

Any help at all would be wonderful.

Thank you so much.

My surgeon does two types of thigh lifts.

If you have a smaller amount of skin he can cut under the groin area and back towards the buttock (basically where the thigh meets the torso - great place to have a scar, barely noticable!) but in my case, I have enough skin that I would need an inner crescent thigh lift which is a scar from the top inner thigh down to the knee.  No thanks to that one - just not my cup of tea.  Same with the arms, not really wanting to go there.  The scars to me are just as bad as the skin.  But I think we all have our personal thoughts on this issue.  I can live with my skin instead of the scars.

For my LBL I am using a product called Newgel.  It is a silicone strip u cut to cover your scar and you take it off to shower and just replace it back on, very sticky (in a good way).

Not sure if this helps or not.. good luck!
