Hi, Today I went to Walmart and found some really soft womens tank tops, supposed to wick the prespiration too.  They are made by Danskin and seem like they will be nice to wear next to the body. I got xL just to be sure they are long enough. I still need to get a dress or muu muu type thing to take too. I can't remember who else is having surgery on the same day but best wishes to all of you. We will join the thin side soon. Carole

I'm scheduled to have a LBL and Inner Thigh Lift on June 4th. I can not wait! My pre-op appt is Tuesday and I'm planning to go shopping this weekend for tank tops, a few dresses, and stock up on protein shakes. I'm uncertain what size tank tops and dresses I should buy - how did you decide?

I looked at the tank tops and decided by the length of them, where they would come to on my body. I felt they needed to be long enough to cover the lbl. Also everybody has talked about buying the wife beater mens t shirts, these are the old fashioned mens undershirt, they come in packages of 6 at Walmart and I think I will pick up a pack of them too. I am going out of country so have to pack enough for 12 days. I also am planning on taking womens sanitary pads, for the drainage of wounds as they will sop up more goo. Also another thing I plan to take are a couple different sizes of freezer zip lock bags to make my own ice bags. I am trying to think of everything else but can use anybodys suggestions as I will be gone a long time. thanks, Carole

May I add what worked for me.  I am less than 2 weeks out from TT and Brachioplasty.  On a fluke I picked up one of those wrap towels that have the straps that button on, I got it a size bigger than I normally would have.  It was a total life saver!  I could not bend at the elbow to put any type of top on and I lived in this for the first week.  It flapped open in the front so my hubby could drain my drains or change my dressings.  I could not even get that on without him unbuttoning one of the straps.  It was wonderful and you can find them in light weight terry at some places.  I got mine at sams for $10 but have seen them at Walmart too.  Just thought this might help if anyone reading is having any lower body work done along with your arms.  The arms are the hard thing to fit because they are hard to bend and you can't get anything over your head.

Best wishes to everyone getting ready.  I am totally thrilled with my results and here I am less than 2 weeks out and feeling great.  Never really did have pain at all!!  It was a much better experience than I ever imagined.  Praying it will be the same for all of you!  Good Luck!!
