2 week postop LBL photos posted!
Thanks, I think I have successfully added you know. Apparently it has to be done through the profile of people and not in the message board.. they have that option at the bottom and it isn't working yet. Maybe I need to let them know that.. I was on the beta testing panel for the new OH design layout of the website.. DOH.
My arms are naturally very muscular and build quickly - just doing max resistance with machines and 3 sets of reps of 10 on each. 3 times a week. I keep my protein consumption very high... around 120 grams at minimum.

Melissa, thank you SO MUCH for sharing your photos. It makes me feel a bit better about potentially having a LBL without the anchor cut for the TT portion (I had open WLS). I see my plastics surgeon again tomorrow to iron out LBL details but I definitely feel more comfortable about giving in on the anchor thing if he does not feel I need it (he is VERY pro anchor).
I also think your butt looks GREAT! I have the same issues with the handfuls of skin at my butt/thighs. I would be so pleased with results like yours!
Keep posting! I want to know how you are making out.
Bev

Hi Bev -
I know my surgeon is very ANTI anchor cut if he can get around it. You saw how much skin I had on my gut in my preop pics so if you can avoid it, I would. I think I turned out pretty great considering I did not have an anchor cut done. I was so worried about a muffin top b/c I had heard so many say they get that without an achor cut. So I asked him that specifcally.. he giggled.. he said NO MAM you will not have a muffin top without the anchor cut, I will get it taken care of.. and he did. So? I donno, and maybe your particular surgeon doesn't feel he can accomplish that without an anchor cut? I do not know if there is a difference in the techniques from one surgeon to another that makes them want to avoid it or not??? I have not a clue.
I will keep posting and good luck with your PS journyey, you keep me posted also!
