I am now back home, just 2 days in hospital. Very sore with 5 drains. I can only hope the pain subsides over the next week. I am on pain meds, Dilauded, codeine etc., so it does help me sleep, as there was absolutely no sleepimg in the hospital.
Surgeon did call my husband and told him that would be pleased with the reuslts. Only time will tell! I was treated great by the whole staff. Thanks for thinking of me! Will report soon!
Hugs, MJ (Boston) rny 6/25/01, BR 4/04, panni,(fleur de lis) and redo of breast reduction 5/8/09

Hope you don't mind but I am going to copy and paste this into a new thread so everyone knows you are home and doing well!!!
Glad to hear it.. take care, take it easy and I promise the pain does get better with each passing day, be on a pain schedule and don't let it get ahead of you and make sure you are taking something for your bowels and drinking your fluid. Because narcotics and lack of movement and high protein diet can create torture constipation postop. Last thing u want after having tummy worked on!! Get better!
