Breast lift questions

Hi everyone,

I had a tt and bl on 4/8.  I am very very happy with my  tt.  It's the breasts that I  have questions about. At one month out they are very high.  I can live with that. It's the shape that is bothering me.  They are just kind not shaped right. The right one has a definite sunken in spot. Kind of like an internal stitch was pulled way too tight. I'm no one to take nude photos so I  can't post what they look like.  The doctor says it will take about another month for them to take proper shape.  He did my arms too and they are beautiful and my tt results were better that I could have ever dreamed.  So far everything else he has told me has been right on.  Am I just being impatient?  How long should I give them to take shape before I start completely freaking out?

Thanks,

Joni

HI Joni,
I had a breast reduction w/lift in Nov 2008.
Besides being swollen and what I thought was very high, I did at first I see some odd shapes on my new boobs but they all worked out and I love my boobs!  It took at good 3 months until all the swelling was gone...but at 2 months I saw a BIG difference.  Suddenly around the 10 or 12 week mark I noticed one morning my boobs "fell into place" and they've been there ever since.

I wore a sports bra to give the most support for at least 2 1/2 - 3 months (I think it was closer to 3)........then I started wearing any bra I wanted.

Don't forget to massage them....... it helps the nerves as they are reconnecting (that's what my surgeon said).

I truly am thrilled with my boobs!

Hope that helps....

Hi Joni,

My boobs were misshaped as well.  Make sure you are massaging them daily a few times a day.  I had saline implants put in and my PS told me to push them in from the sides and top a few times a day to help them get into the pockets.

I ended up having a revision yesterday, but that's due to scar tissue buildup - nothing the PS could control.
