 Burt's Bees Momma Bee - something like that - it's a plastic round container - contains shea butter and Vit E with calendula and a lot of other nice things.......I glob on a great deal of it everyday - ...was using cocoa butter but got sick of the smell......the scars are there - my surgeon just placed them very well........but they have faded and shrunk very nicely in spite of my yoga and lifting etc......Susan

Amazing, I am 3 1/2 months out and mine will heal nice once the redness goes away!  I am soooo running out at lunch and getting the burt's bees.  I have been using super expensive stuff and doesn't seem to do much.

BTW, did you have the laser treatement done?  What did that do??

talk to your doctor about silicone strips called NewGel.  It is awesome!!!!

My friend used this and her scars are amazing.  U just reapply them after a shower and keep doing that until they dont' stick anymore.  U can buy more and stop using at that point. My doc prefers 3 months.  It REALLY makes a difference.

Edited to add:  It has a felt like appearance on the outside now (new and improved) and so it doesn't stick to clothes at all) and it VERY nicely stays in place under my binder.  I LOVE it.

Thanks Melissa, but I can't use the strips b/c my skin can't handle the adhesive strips.  I can't handle plastic tapes either.  Bandaids are fine, but plastic tape DESTROYS my skin.  :-(

I am very allergic to tape, look at my pics and my tape burns. 

This is why my doc went to this product - its hypoallergenic material and has YET to have anyone react to it.. so just give it some thought.  

My tape burns KILL compared to my incisions.. if that helps at all. I Have those things all over my incisions and i feel nothing.  It is quite comfortable.  I have very sesitive skin and cannot wear bandaids my whole life, even paper tape takes my skin off.

Hmmm.... Interesting to know!  I might have to try it.  It's very pricey, but might be worth a shot!

Awesome, fingers crossed no reaction.  If for some reason you do (I really don't think you will).  I will buy them off you potentially b/c I may need more later.  Then you wouldn't be out any money.
