It seems that is about the average price. I hope my appeal is approved so my amount will go down also.

I'm from Ontario Canada and was quoted $5,000 for the part from my belly button down and another $3,000 for the belly button up to under my breast which i think they call the anchor cut.

we have OHIP which is our government insurance and i applied to it to see if they would pay the panni and I pay the difference to the surgeon for a tummy tuck.  the ohip was accepted but would you believe they only pay  the doctor $500 for a panni?  ask your  surgeon what the difference is between it being covered or not being covered.  I would be interested in knowing what it is down there. Every little bit helps but it wouldn't have stopped me if it was turned down.
Good Luck

Hi there....I'm paying $10,700 here in Monterey, CA. That's all pre/post-op visits, circumferential adbominoplasty, and doctor's fees. It does not cover my Labs and meds. However, my PCM ordered my Labs (so they were covered under my insurance). Also, on my last pre-op visit I will get a list of meds I will need after surgery so I'll take that to my PCM so she can prescribe them for me (again, my horrible insurance *******s...ooops, sorry, I meant to say insurance company... can pay for them.

Good luck!

I didn't even think of these things. I have a so many more questions that i need to ask. I am going to apply for the appeal before i consider paying for it myself. My financial situation really doesn't allow this but i want it really bad that I will get a pt job if i have to.  yeah, it funny, I work for the company and they don't want to pay for anything. I hope my appeal works out......lol

That is a great price for the surgery, anesthesia and hospital stay.  I had my full tummy tuck with muscle repair done at a surgery center here in the Los Angeles area.  I have heard anywhere from 5,000 to 12,000.  I believe that it depends on the area that you live or have it done. (I was even in a high rent area and still was given a great price).  Be sure to check with the Care Credit as well.  They can offer you great deals.  Also, remember that in todays economy, not only are we (the patient/consumer) having difficulties, so is the medical community (which I work for) so you may be able to get a better price or work on the financing.  Good luck to you.  Be sure to check out all of the other things that people here are saying as well.

Hi.. my tummy tuck that I just had in January was about $7,000 and I'm Northern Kentucky.  Sooo sounds reasonable.
