Today is big day to decided what size boobs to get

I go in for my preop apt today  to decide what the final size to have my implants and well this is gonna be a very hard decision, I am having mentor saline High profile  round Implants, They  have the smallest  base with  and most projection, I have no fat on my chest or for that matter in my breast area, I am rail thin  on top than most woman up there so they said I will require  a bigger  cc implants  than most woman, Most woman  do not lose that much breast fat but  I sure did, I do not need a lift I just need a fill, Any words of wisdon when  deciding size? Those of you that got implants did   they look bigger  when u were tried them on and seemed smaller  aftey were done for real ?, I am talking after them settling in and swelling  gone done of course LOL The  lady that was helping me told me  the fact they are putting implants  behind the full chest wall u will look 50 cc smaller then what u actually pick out she told they  are smaller looking when they implant in your chest,  she told me if I want a more rounder look I should get a 500 cc implant and have him fill it to 600 cc to give me the fulllness on top look I want to achieve, I do not want the tear drop look I  am done with that Look,  LOL I  am currently a baby b cup I  am hoping to be a D cup or baby DD I was worried that 600 cc fill was alot but every one of plastic surgeons suggest a 600 cc was a good fill for me, So I guess they done enought of these they know what I need to get to a D cup. I told all the docs that most women   who had implants were getting 300 to 400cc  and they said yes most woman only need that but they told me u lost all of your breast fat tissue and all that is left is skin and mammory glands. I do not want to wake up and  look like Dolly Parton LOL Please anyone words of wisdom?> When I lie down I am totally flat.  How long will I have the swelling?> Thanks everyone

I got 550 cc silicone under muscle.  They had me try on a tank top when I was trying the different sizes.  I also didnt need a life which I am glad.  They pretty much looked the same as when I tried them on.  I didnt have a lot of swelling, just had to wait for them to drop.  Wore sports bra for 6 weeks and a binder that wrapped under and on the upper part of the girls.  Was kinda a pain but I sure love the results :)  Good luck.  Sue

I am  glad  u mention to bring a top to try with  the implants sizing. I  hope I do not go to big. How did your sides fair when  u had the implatns i have alittle fat on side of my breasts and he said it may or may not totally disappear. Ty fir answering seems not many people are getting BA on boards, I feel soalone doing this right now ty for taking the time to answer and give me your personal insights. I just have not really talked to many people who have  had them,

I did not really have any fat on my sides so I am sorry that I cant help you with that.  I am sorry that you feel so alone.  You can always ask me anything.  I wasnt on this board much when I had them done.  In fact, this was a birthday gift to me from the guy I am seeing!  He totally surprised me with them cause he knew I was unhappy with how they were looking.  He also threw in a tummy tuck!!

600cc?!?!?!  Really?  That's big.

I am very thin, to the point of seeing my rib cage through my disappearing boobies.  I went from a flabby C to an AA!  I look like I have walnuts here.   I need no lift, just a fill and my doctor says I should choose something natural looking for me considering all of my measurements....natural meaning no one will really notice too much.  If I got 550cc implants I would look like Dolly Parton!

I went with 325cc.  Doc said 350cc and I said it was too much.

Of course I'm not knocking anyone else, but something that big seems a little extreme.  Just me though.

Though I've had implants, I really don't know a lot about the different types. I had 260cc saline implants put in 10 months ago. I am 5'6" and was around 145 on my surgery day. I was a baby b cup. I did have a small lift with the procedure. I also had my arms and a tummy tuck at the same time. I'm about 145 now and a D cup.....and I could be described as curvy or busty. The size is about right for my build, though sometimes I actually wish I had gone a little smaller- I wanted a more natural and athletic look. Now, I'm little in the waist and big on top. Bigger boobs, really made me feel bigger-- all over! NOT a feeling I wanted! I have to be careful with tops-- or the boobs can almost make me look chubby.
 
Like I said, I'm no expert- but 500/600cc seems really big.  I did try on the office sizers with a top and found I look pretty much as I did when I tried on the sizers( and mine are under muscle). So, really consider what look you want and consider you'll look pretty much the same as with the sizers.

Thanks for posting the question...and for all the answers.  I'm going in for sizing on Friday--so I'm very interested!  Also interested in saline vs. silicone.  When I had my brachio, the incision line goes all the way down to my bra line..so alot of the side fat is gone.  I'm having a lift as well as the aug...Again, thanks for the information.
